* Notice *
I replaced the system builds rpms with Vine Linux 2.6(based on RedHat-7.2).
* Notice *
I built rpms against gpgme library experimentally.
If you have any suggestions that I should continue to link gpgme, these rpms are unable to install, etc.,
please mail me.
If you are using glibc-2.2 or newer systems, you can use the following rpm. This rpm compiled on Vine Linux which is a distribution based on RedHat 7.2
This requires rpm of imlib, gpgme.
* RPMS(i386): sylpheed-0.9.7-1.i386.rpm
These are i386.rpm of GnuPG/GPGME.
You don't need -devel rpm to use sylpheed-0.9.7-1.i386.rpm.
* RPMS(i386): gnupg-1.0.7-b1.i386.rpm
* RPMS(i386): gpgme-0.3.10-b1.i386.rpm
* RPMS(i386): gpgme-devel-0.3.10-b1.i386.rpm
If you are using Linux distribution that is based glibc 2.0 or others, type the following commands to create rpm from src.rpm after installing gtk+-devel rpm.
$ unset LINGUAS $ rpm --rebuild sylpheed-0.9.7-1.src.rpm
* SRPM: sylpheed-0.9.7-1.src.rpm
If you want to add flags of ./configure, like --enable-ssl, use SYLPHEED_CONFIGURE_FLAGS shell variable. like this:
$ export SYLPHEED_CONFIGURE_FLAGS="--enable-ssl"
$ rpm --rebuild {#sylpheed_rpm}.src.rpm
If you use like .bash_profile, you needn't type every time.
These are src.rpm of gnupg/gpgme.
* SRPM: gnupg-1.0.7-b1.src.rpm
* SRPM: gpgme-0.3.10-b1.src.rpm
You can also build rpm from the official tarballs. If you want to use them, download the tarball and type this:
rpm -ta --clean sylpheed-0.9.7.tar.gzBut you can't get an icon for the GNOME menu.
You can get rpms for PPC from there.
